Important: Opened or used perfumes cannot be refunded for hygiene and safety reasons.

At Perfume Corner, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how and when you can receive a refund for your order.

This policy should be read in conjunction with our Returns Policy.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a refund if:

  • You return your item within 30 days from the day you receive it
  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging
  • The item is in the same condition as when you received it
  • You have proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

⚠️ For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot offer refunds for opened, sprayed, tested, or used perfumes.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Opened or used perfumes
  • Items with broken seals or removed packaging
  • Tester bottles
  • Clearance or final-sale items (if labelled as such at purchase)
  • Gift cards or digital products

If an item is returned in an ineligible condition, it will not qualify for a refund and may be sent back to you at your expense.

3. Refund Processing Time

Step 1: You return the item to us

Step 2: We receive and inspect your return (allow 3-5 days for delivery)

Step 3: We process your refund within 7 working days of receiving the return

Step 4: Your bank/payment provider processes the refund (allow 3-5 additional business days)

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to confirm receipt and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 working days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method.

4. Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account.

Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the card used for purchase
  • PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
  • Klarna: Refunded through Klarna (your payment plan will be adjusted)

Please allow 3-5 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Items that show signs of use or damage not caused by us
  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories

If you receive a partial refund, we will explain the reason in our email notification.

6. Shipping Costs and Refunds

Original Shipping Fees

Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable, except in cases where:

  • The item arrived damaged or faulty
  • We sent you the wrong item
  • There was an error on our part

Return Shipping Costs

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item, unless:

  • The item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect
  • We made an error with your order

In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your return shipping costs.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damaged or incorrect item
  • Include your order number

We will arrange for:

  • A full refund (including original and return shipping costs), or
  • A replacement item at no additional cost

In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return label or arrange collection at no cost to you.

8. How to Request a Refund

  3. Wait for our return authorization and instructions
  4. Return the item using a tracked shipping service
  5. Keep your proof of postage until the refund is processed

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again - it can take 3-5 business days for the refund to appear
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank - there may be a processing delay
  3. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, contact us at info@perfumecorner.co.uk

10. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product:

  1. Return your original item for a refund (following this Refund Policy)
  2. Place a new order for the item you want

This ensures you receive your preferred item as quickly as possible.

11. International Orders

For international orders:

  • The same Refund Policy applies
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • Original international shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds may take longer to process due to international shipping times
  • Currency conversion rates may affect the refund amount

12. Your Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
